Wonderful weather in town on Wednesday

Cymbeline at The RSC

Went and did some drawings at the technical rehearsals of the new RSC production of Cymbeline directed by Melly Still. Didn't have much time so didn't get a lot done but here are the results. It takes a while to tune into the atmosphere and the figures but technical rehearsals are great for drawing because everything is repeated two or three times and as it is always the same it is ideal for artists.

Rome

A few days in sunny Rome - what a fantastic place! Didn't get a lot done but here are a few drawings and watercolours.

The umbrella pines combined with the ancient buildings make an irresistible combination

You can always tell the Sistine Chapel: it's packed and everyone goes around with  their heads back pointing randomly in the air. Their other hands clutch audio guides to their ears.
